1/17/2024 0 Comments Aguila sniper subsonic 22lr review" Have run the Aguila SSS rounds through six of my rifles as well as several borrowed rifles.also several handguns. over " FACTS ".įACTS : There have been examples of persons ' TESTING " the " Aguilas 60 grain SSS " with their Rifles ( 1/16 Twist ) & have had some success with both " Stabilization & Accuracy ". I wasn't going to post any more information. If it'll stabilize (some guns it did, some didn't) that'd be a nice quiet squirrel give them a try. That's quite interesting! I have a brick sittin around somewhere. I don't think I'd see too many people carrying a 3in 22lr revolver. That didn't perform all that bad! I'd use it! Wish he used the snubby LCR or the LCP. Not much of a segmented hp fan, too much meat damage for my tastes, but I can see their use. 22 bullet fired out of a suppressed semiauto makes a great riot control weapon for many markets. They were specifically designed for a special fast-twist aftermarket barrel for Ruger 10/22s that Aguila made available (I think Wilson did a run of these for Aguila) that was threaded for a suppressor. They certainly won't stabilize out of a handgun. Re the Aguila 60gr SSS rounds, they won't stabilize out of a barrel with a 1:16" twist. but they don't make nearly as much money for Winchester as the Silvertips do. Standard high velocity hollow points are as good as these new Silvertips (certainly the bad guy won't know the difference). or by a happy compromise between the two. True wealth is having enough money so you can live off of the earnings it generates, and you get this by saving more or needing to spend less. to save their money instead of having the latest shoes, jeans, phone, etc., and then to invest their money to where it earns passive income. Teach your children to recognize this financial exploitation, this slavery, for what it is. The only way to win this game is to not play it. They also figured that all of those lost jobs were someone else's problem. companies figured out that making something overseas for 10% of the cost to make it here, but selling it at 90% of the cost it was being sold here is the secret to fabulous wealth, e.g, Walmart. Consumerism is why we have such an imbalance of trade. The modern economy exists and flourishes by convincing people that they need something that is new and improved in order to create demand for products and services. shoot an attacker until I was sure the threat was eliminated. Of course, that would be my tactic with any defensive weapon. 22, I'm not going to put one round into a bad guy, I'm going to put as many rounds as I feel I need to in order to stop the threat, taking advantage of the lack of recoil. I would put my faith in the heavier bullet traveling faster. I wonder if the Silvertip would shed it's petals if it hit a rib or the breastbone, or even clothing, and only the base would penetrate enough to do significant damage. I've seen this effect in lung tissue which has very little elasticity, and I think that either of these rounds would create a fatal injury but perhaps not an immediately disabling one. A larger expansion cavity can mean that the impacted flesh is stretched beyond it's elastic limits and is thus torn. the area of the bullet path where tissue is destroyed, not just stretched. IIRC the predominant theory about how bullets create stopping power is by the crush cavity. I also don't know if we're not seeing the expansion of the wound channel because the camera seems to be close to real time as opposed to slow motion. I don't think the velocity is high enough for the CCI hollow point to really get it to expand. Yeah, the Silvertip does a little more damage towards the entry point as it sheds petals, but I look at a. I don't think there's enough difference to make a difference.
